May 15, 2009 – Pelosi Spooked

Nancy, just ignore those dark cars following you everywhere.

To see the cartoon at Glenn Beck’s site click here.

She reminds me more and more of my mother, who, as she got older, seemed to be more and more detached from reality. My mother also had trouble getting some sentences out without a stumble or two. I wonder what Pelosi’s medical condition is.

Below is the penciling prior to ink and color. I worked real loose again with the pencils ’cause I was hoping to give the finished art a looser look. In the end, it’s all rather tight. That seemed to work better getting the idea of lighting. I was going to have a yellow glow from the light above Pelosi’s head, but the glow was taking away from the somewhat eerie feeling i wanted.

I essentially have two panels happening. One of Pelosi at the door and the other of something speaking in the shadows.

How do you all think it worked out in the end?

As I feel. It may crush me, but it’s for the betterment of our country. Everytime we’ve played with socialism, it grows only larger and wipes us out in other ways. It bothers me to see such foolishness going on. Such as an arrogant untrained Obama and the fools who, with pure greed, hurt us as Americans.
