When you don’t respect the boundaries around your house, anything can and will come in. Folks put up fences, hedges, walls, alarms, etc. to keep themselves and their families safe. We care more about our personal property borders than our national one. You need one to keep the other.

So, OK, you’re Homeland Security Secretary and make your first major speech to Congress and don’t mention the word, ‘terrorism’. Maybe you forgot. Maybe you didn’t want to mention it.

Either way, because the chair was created BECAUSE of terrorism, ya think ya might do more than indicate in fluffy words it’s existence. Maybe you think the position you just got should be eliminated. Maybe you think you should be out of a job. If you don’t think terrorism shouldn’t be referred to, maybe you’re right.
